A young and dynamic company in Magdeburg's Port of Science. Our interdisciplinary team develops, programs and manufactures high-tech systems for high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging. Our vision is to provide more patients with easier access to better healthcare in the context of clinical diagnosis. Working towards this goal, we have initially developed a system tailored to pediatric needs; we also intend to develop adapted MRI systems for other specific patient populations.

We are looking for a Mechatronics Technician (f/m/d) to support our projects in research and development hardware.

​

Your responsibilities:
You will support our development team-Hardware primarily in the realization of research and development projects up to production readiness. Your varied tasks will cover the areas of assembly, commissioning, fine-tuning, repair and solution finding both for individual mechanical and electronic components as well as for the overall systems to be developed. For this purpose, you will work with our hardware as well as with task-specific software in our workshop and at the computer workstation. The support of our series production as well as the maintenance of customer systems can also be assigned to your area of responsibility.
Your work location will be predominantly in the Port of Science in Magdeburg, but may also be at customer sites in Germany and Europe for several days in the context of system setups and maintenance.

 

What you bring to the table:
You share our vision of improved healthcare and are motivated by the varied work in an interdisciplinary team. You have training, professional experience or equivalent qualifications and skills in the fields of mechanics, electronics or mechatronics. Previous medical-technical or medical/clinical knowledge is explicitly not required, but you are welcome to bring it along.
In addition, you have an attentive, conscientious, team-oriented and self-reliant way of working. We also expect you to be willing to familiarize yourself with new technical tasks or to undergo further training, and to be prepared to travel on official business.
